How to find us:
The Hearth is directly opposite The Lion and Lamb in Horsley village. The main entrance is at the
rear from the car park - go through the reception and church hall to get to Horsley Printmakers.
You can also access the studio from the road: go up the gravel path to the right of the church and
follow the signs.
By Car:
From Newcastle: Travel approximately 10 minutes west of Newcastle on the A69. Turn left off the
A69 following signs for Horsley. Turn left at the top of the slip road; turn right at the next cross
roads; follow the road into the village. The Lion and Lamb is on the left opposite a church and
church buildings which make up The Hearth on the right. The car park is behind the church/manse
buildings.
From Hexham direction: Travel approximately 15 minutes east of Hexham going toward
Newcastle on the A69; follow the sign left off the A69 for Horsley; at the end of the slip road turn
right; follow the road under the A69going left and follow the road into the village. The Lion and
Lamb pub is on the right with the Hearth directly opposite. The car park is behind the
church/manse buildings.
By Public Transport:
The following buses stop outside The Lion and Lamb going west: 685 & X85 from Newcastle and
Hexham. The bus going East stops a little further up the road just after the church. Buses are

Nearest train station is Wylam. Corbridge is also on the Newcastle - Hexham line and is close to
a number of B&Bs.
