WEEKDAY & EVENING COURSES FOR AUTUMN 2008

RELIEF PRINTMAKING

Mandy Pattullo
Tuesdays | Sept 30th 2008 | 8 meetings | 18:45 - 21:15 | The Hearth at Horsley
£94.00 | £79.00 retired| £55.00 students/benefits| Credit Points: 10 | Course No:  20081621

This Course was incorrectly titled “Alternative linocuts for Textiles” in the brochure. It should have been called “Relief Printmaking” and the focus will indeed be on lino-cutting but the emphasis will be printing on paper and using relief printmaking in conjunction with collage and bookforms. There will be an opportunity to print on fabric but please note this is not exclusively a textiles course.

Take the simple lino cut , make multi-colour prints, print on fabric, make a simple artists book and experiment with combining lino relief printing with collage and other techniques. These are many of the options open to you on this innovative linocut course. You’ll begin by learning how to make a simple linocut and progress over the 8 weeks to multi-colour linocuts with the option to print on fabric and/or making a simple artists’ book in combination with other techniques. Materials £29 extra. To enrol phone 0191 515 2800 and pay by credit card from July 21st or fill in the enrolment form and pay by cheque Back to top
