TO SEE AND THINGS TO DO:
When
you book one of our weekend or 4 day workshops you may wish to consider
extending your stay. Horsley Printmakers is just
one mile south of Hadrian’s Wall which is within The Northumberland
National Park. The landscape, wildlife and heritage of this area is a
constant source of inspiration not only Carol and Rebecca’s work but
many of the artists who come on Horsley printmakers courses and for
other artists who live and work in Northumberland. You won't fail to be
inspired too! Visit www.northumberland-national-park.org.uk,
for more information.
There is
a wide range of things to do that will appeal to all interests and
tastes from walking Hadrian's Wall or sampling the delights of the
bright Newcastle and Gateshead city lights whilst discovering the wealth
of art and artists in the region.
The
suggestions here are a mere taster of what the area has to offer.
Perhaps our printmaking courses will tempt you to get creative and
extend your stay so you can see for yourself. You might also like to

Artists and Galleries: Many of
Northumberland artists are members of Network Artists in
Northumberland http://www.networkartists.org.uk/.
Some of them open their doors to
the public all year round including the annual summer and Christmas Art
Tours which take place in June/July and the end of November. You can
pick up a brochure from Horsley Printmakers. It will have full details.
