Moods of the Landscape -
Monotype
With
Rebecca Vincent
Saturday | March 3| 10.00 – 16.00 |
In this one day course we
will create unique printed pictures of the landscape using two layers of
colours. Monotype is a wonderfully swift and expressive medium, perfect
for big stormy skies, rugged landscapes and sweeping valleys. We will
carefully mix colours that interact well and match the mood of your
landscape. These will be rolled onto metal plates then wiped away using
cloths, cotton buds, sticks and cards. By working in layers, colours will
glow and react together to give really evocative results. Bring in your
own landscape photographs and drawings as a starting point but be ready to
interpret them freely in this exciting medium.
