Pop Art
Portraits
With Rebecca Vincent and Carol Nunan
Saturday and Sunday | Nov 19/20| 10.00 – 16.00 |
Would you like to create a very special portrait without having to draw or
paint? Would you like it to have a “Pop Art” look or contemporary style?
Bring along your own images of family, friends or even pets and transform
them into works of art using the medium of photo-etching. On this course
you will be able to transfer your image to the surface of a metal plate
then print it in colour. You can get even more creative by making a second
plate with pattern or painterly marks that prints under the first. Print
in contrasting colours and you will be knocked out by the results! Note
that images need to be prepared as acetates in advance of the course.
Preparation notes will be sent out in good time.
