Sock Monkeys and other Quirky Creatures

Recycle  socks, old jumpers, blankets and rags to make unusual creatures with personalities all of their own. You will learn hand stitch techniques which will turn socks into monkeys and allow you to use precious bits of fabric and trimmings to create unique gifts and contemporary heirlooms. Learn some stitches to create faces and basic appliqué. Some materials provided but you are encouraged to embrace recycling and bring your own old socks, jumpers and blankets. Health warning – its addictive!
